Introduction : Principal Dr. Gargi Rajpara Ma'am opened the event by warmly welcoming the new batch of students, faculty, and guests. She emphasized the importance of the 1st semester as a time for exploration, learning, and self-discovery, encouraging students to make the most of the academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support services available at the college.
Skit Performance : The event featured an engaging skit where a group of 1st semester students, overwhelmed by the numerous career paths available, found guidance from a senior mentor. The skit highlighted the importance of self-awareness, exploring interests, and utilizing resources like career counseling, workshops, and networking events. Through different scenarios, the students showcased how internships, volunteering, and joining clubs can help them gain clarity about their future.
IEEE Students' Experience : Enthusiastic IEEE student members shared their experiences, speaking about the diverse activities they've been involved in throughout their college years. They emphasized the value of participating in both technical and non-technical events, which helped them develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. They encouraged the new students to be open to trying new things, whether it’s joining a technical society, participating in cultural clubs, or volunteering for community service, stressing that every experience adds value.
HOD's Address : Prof.Ashish Patel Sir, the Head of the Department (HOD), provided detailed insights into the importance of such events and the value they bring to students. He encouraged students to take full advantage of the resources and support available, highlighting how these experiences can open doors to new opportunities, foster a sense of community, and help them discover their passions and interests.
